Topic: Is Coming Out The End of Hiding?
Many of us thought that coming out and letting others in would be the end of hiding. Eventually, being out became so ordinary it was hard to remember why it once made your heart race. Yet by the time you came out, you’d already spent years watching yourself. Listening to your inner voice. Learning who could handle which version of you. Noticing which boys got picked on and making sure you gave nobody a reason to pick on you.
Tonight we will discuss various ways in which growing up gay may be guiding or controlling you.
